The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer

I first saw this brand from a Youtuber and she couldn’t stop talking about how good this certain low key concealer from a Korean brand. She even think it’s a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape concealer, which I have been eyeing for quite some time now! (I just don’t have the money for it yet! *sobs*) So, fast forward to July – a few months after I watched the video where she mentioned the concealer – I was looking for a nice but cheap concealer and remembered her mentioning The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer *sigh* That’s a mouthful! So I checked Shopee right away (because DUH Shopee is my go-to shopping app) and thankfully, a lot of shops there carries it! I was so relieved because I thought it was going to be a pain in the butt finding it! Of course, me being the usual impulsive self, I ordered 2 colors right away!

I know you’ve been waiting for my review ever since I psted it on my Twitter/Instagram and I’m sorry it took me so long! I just really wanted to test it out so I can share my 100% honest thoughts about it!

I admit, I thought this concealer would be A LOT bigger than I thought it would be. I was SHOOKT when I saw how tiny it is. Just look at the photo above! *giggles* To give you an idea, The LA Girl Pro Concealer is bigger than this. So I was little bit turned off by the size but I didn’t let it stop me from giving it a chance! When I finally used it, I realized that a little goes a long way! You don’t need a lot of products to cover up something!

I honestly love the packaging. It’s ideal to bring it with me everyday at school and I love the aesthetic of the packaging! It’s very minimal!

It has a smell that I can’t really explain but it has a nice scent to it. It’s not overpowering at all which is a plus! It doesn’t really bother me and it goes away after a few minutes.

Unfortunately, it only comes in 3 shades. 01 Clear beige (being the lightest), 1.5 natural beige and 2.0 rich beige (darkest). I wish they would come out with darker shades to cater every skin tone but I understand that most Koreans have white skin.

I use 01 to brighten the high points of my face and 1.5 to cover up my blemishes.

This concealer usually costs PHP250-300.00 at Shopee (Free SF + COD) and You can also get this at Althea Korea for PHP320.00!

The consistency of this concealer is in between thick and thin. It’s not too thick but it’s very creamy. It’s easy to blend. I use either sponge or brush and it works great on both! Although I prefer blending it with a beauty blender! It dries out matte but not too matte which is a good thing! I love the finish it’s not flat at all!

This concealer has a medium to full coverage! It doesn’t cover my pimple scars entirely but I can say that it hides it enough not to be blatantly visible. It also covers my under eyes well! It’s the main reason why I fell in love with it! It completely hid my dark circles! What I also love about this concealer is that it doesn’t settle on my pores at all! It creases a little bit on the lines under my eyes but I haven’t really found a concealer that doesn’t completely settles on the lines on my eyes!

It’s also very lightweight and you won’t feel like you’re wearing a lot of products on your face. It doesn’t feel sticky at all but I set it using a face powder or a lose powder and it looks and feels great!

I also tried using this concealer without foundation and it really covered everything I want to hide! It was the first time in months that I went out with just concealer on!

I honestly didn’t have any concealer that I genuinely like until I got my hands on these babies! They’re SO GOOD for the price! I’m so happy I discovered this concealer! I am definitely going to repurchase once I ran out! I forgot the name of the shop where I got this from! I’m sorry! But if you want to get your hands on these babies, it’s all over Shopee!

Look: My face and specifically my under eyes looked flawless in the photo above! The concealer really does the job of covering my blemishes up!

      Thank you, Melissa!!
I’m not sure about your skin tone but if you want to use it to brighten up parts of your face, you should get the 01!

I also have one of The Saem concealer, pero yung brightening one. Sobrang puti niya, as in 🙁 But nice ng coverage, tried it on my arm HAHAHA kaya ginagamit ko nalang siya to prime my lids then set with a darker shade of powder para magblend.
